Panos is a lecturer in Computer Science. His expertise lies in algorithms and computational geometry.
In particular, he is interested in algorithmic modeling, in provably correct, exact or approximate solutions for geometric problems, graph problems, and in applications of such algorithms or related heuristics to diverse areas such as graph drawing and biomedical imaging.
He holds a PhD in Computer Science from Utrecht University, an MSc from Imperial College and a BSc from University of Patras. He has held postdoctoral positions at Humboldt University Berlin and Free University Berlin. He has been awarded an EPSRC starting grant and has supervised one PhD student and one postdoctoral researcher and is currently supervising two PhD students.
