Sophie is an information and data experience designer with over 13 years of practice making data human, relatable, and tangible. Her work spans creative workshops, live data illustration, and participatory physical installations, with a focus on reaching audiences who find conventional data tools intimidating.
She is drawn to what happens when data moves off the screen and into people’s hands, and through Diverse CDT she is keen to explore how lo-fi, tactile approaches to data visualisation can extend data literacy to new audiences.
