Mary is an AI researcher and data scientist building AI products that help people flourish, make decisions in high-stakes environments, and understand people across cultures.
At NHS England, she built visualisations, econometric and machine learning models informing national decisions on primary care, A&E, pandemic recovery, and cancer prevention. She redesigned the NHS App Dashboard and maintained the Covid-19 Early Warning System.
She co-founded the NHS Python Community (featured in the Goldacre Review), and hosted the NHS-R Conference Python track (2022). She co-led the first cross-NHS AI hackathon with Google and Deloitte and is an NHS Open Analytics Community Fellow.
