City St George’s, University of London
City St George’s brings together the strengths of City, University of London’s Department of Computer Science and St George’s, University of London’s expertise in health and biomedical sciences. As a co-host of the Diverse CDT, City St George’s offers an interdisciplinary environment where cutting-edge data visualisation research meets real-world applications in healthcare, accessibility, and human-centred design. Students benefit from state-of-the-art facilities, expert supervision, and the collaborative ethos of the Centre for HCI Design (HCID) and related research groups.
University of Warwick
The University of Warwick is recognised globally for its interdisciplinary research and innovative approach to complex challenges. Within the DIVERSE CDT, Warwick hosts students through its Centre for Interdisciplinary Methodologies (CIM) and other relevant departments, providing a vibrant academic setting where diverse perspectives drive novel approaches to data visualisation. Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC)
The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council is the UK’s main funding body for research and training in engineering and the physical sciences. As the principal funder of the DIVERSE CDT, EPSRC provides the resources and long-term investment that enable this unique doctoral training programme. Its support covers fully funded studentships, world-class training, and opportunities for international collaboration, ensuring that DIVERSE CDT graduates are equipped to push the boundaries of inclusive and impactful data visualisation research.
