Supervisor Co-design Workshops
These small, focussed, face-to-face workshops will introduce and get you using some techniques for identifying, prioritising and addressing visualization opportunities that will be important in co-designing projects with our partners and in your domain.
The Supervisor Co-Design Workshops are a core part of Diverse CDT supervisor engagement as we help supervisors to –
- develop ideas and relationships for internal academic-led, and external, partner-led research projects
- learn about the co-design process for applied visualization projects
- bring students and supervisors together to get to know each other and work collaboratively
- identify, prioritise and begin to address some data challenges in your domain
- learn a little bit about partners, their challenges and how we might address them.
The three-hour workshops will be run throughout July, August and September in the data vis lab for small groups so each attendee can get the most from participation.

We look forward to seeing you there!
These workshops are intended for those who have already attended one of our Supervisor Orientation Workshops. If you would like to become a supervisor or academic advisor with Diverse CDT and have not attended a Supervisor Orientation Workshop please email us.
